All About Me and Our Class
Welcome to Lingle Middle School!

I am so excited to be here serving as the REACH Facilitator! I have been teaching full-time since 2005. Prior to that, I worked as a school guidance counselor, and as counselor in the emergency room of a hospital.  I also enjoyed my time as a stay-at home mom and a s part-time preschool teacher.

My family has lived here in NWA since 2007, and we love it! We have two boys. One attends University of Arkansas and the other works at Arvest Bank in Rogers. Our family enjoys traveling, watching movies together, and eating out!  We are extremely blessed that our boys come home every Sunday for family dinner.

This school year is jam-packed with lots of fun and lots of learning. Relax and enjoy the ride! Research has shown that one's intelligence is not a fixed number, a grade on a paper, or a report card. It is constantly changing based on effort, persistence, and motivation. Having to work hard or put forth a great deal of effort is not a sign of weakness! Just because we are smart does not excuse us from giving 110% effort towards reaching all of our goals. I expect my students to work hard, be respectful of others, learn how to be an independent and responsible learner.  Mistakes are welcomed! Without mistakes, we are unable to grow.

Communication is the key to success! So don't ever hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.  I have provided your child with multiple ways for you to contact me directly.  It is written in his or her planner.  In addition, please join our Remind class and sign up for our Google Classroom announcements and updates.
